Administrative Assistant - Clinical Research Support
Location: Minneapolis
Pay: $15.50/hour
Hours: FT; First shift; M-F

Administrative assistant position available to support clinical research for large non-profit in Minneapolis.

This position is responsible for assisting in the management of the auditing and clinical trial monitoring functions. Position will coordinate a variety of auditing/monitoring activities and provide logistical support to the Senior Manager, Clinical Research staff and center sites.

Position Accountability:
• Assists with activities related to the preparation of member sites for on-site auditing or monitoring visits.
• Coordinates and schedules audit/monitoring visits at member centers.
• Coordinates the pre-audit preparation tasks at member centers.
• Assists with activities related to the post audit/monitoring visit of member sites.
• Coordinates corrections to the database from the source document audits.
• Prepares audit/monitoring worksheets for statistical review.
• Completes Record of Change documentation for member centers
• Sends post audit evaluations
• Coordinates and tracks Corrective Action Plan activities for member centers.
• Performs other assigned duties in support of the Clinical Research Department
• Schedules meetings and conference calls
• Assist with travel preparations as needed
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials
• Other assigned duties

Experience & Qualifications:

Two years experience in a clerical position that required a variety of administrative duties including administrative support, extensive word processing and Excel, and creation of presentation materials.

Medical terminology; clinical trial processes or other standardized regulatory processes would be helpful but not required.

Excellent oral and written communication, above average organizational skills. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and record keeping. Intermediate word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software skills; independent problem solving skills.


Escrow Specialist
Location: St. Paul
Pay:$17-$18/hour
Hours: FT; First-shift; M-F

Financial services company in St Paul seeking escrow specialists. Responsible for accurate accounting of customer tax and insurance escrow balances by completing their assigned tasks and working each to full resolution. Incumbent must be capable of becoming familiar with Loan and Escrow Systems’ functionality and properly generate and review all correcting transactions. This position requires an understanding of Tax/Insurance Escrow and PMI accounting.

Position Responsibilities:

•Review of escrow analysis statements ensuring the appropriate Tax and Insurance along with the appropriate cushion are being billed and collected.
•Completion of Texas Chattel escrow processes as assigned.
•Determining the annual tax amount by contacting the appropriate counties.
•Perform the escrow analysis.
•Timely payment of taxes.
•EAS and GTA updates and verification of accurate information.
•Reconciling to ZC Sterling reports.
•Payment of property taxes.
•Reconciling to Assurant reports.
•Payment of insurance premiums.
•Account review, providing reporting and payment of PMI insurance and testing of EAS and GTA enhancements related to all escrow functions.

Selection Criteria:

1-2 years previous experience with GTA servicing platform or similar system
1-2 years experience in business process

Bookkeeper
Location: Minneapolis 
Pay:$15-$18/hour
Hours: Full time; first-shift; M-F

Immediate need for a bookkeeper for non-profit in Golden Valley, MN. Temporary position to cover medical leave for approximately 3 - 6 weeks.

Candidate will work within centralized accounting system in which dollars are categorized into different revenue streams, including coding in the ledger. Candidate will handle invoices, which will need to be accurately charged back to specific programs, as well as donations. Candidate will have opportunity to train with current bookkeeper. Will be working with direct donor benefit expenses and non-direct donor benefit expenses.

Candidate will report to executive director. Positive, upbeat environment; business casual dress code.

Requirements:
Minimum of two years bookkeeping experience
Computer proficiency
Excellent data entry accuracy and speed
Non-profit experience preferred
Able to hit the ground running - there will be a lot to learn in a short amount of time.

Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator - Outbound Calling
Location: Edina
Pay: $12/hour
Hours: 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.; M-F

Candidates will be making outbound calls to businesses to recruit individuals to participate in fundraising program to raise money for non-profit association. Candidates will work from 9:00-4:30 and will be making outbound calls all day.

Seeking dynamic, charismatic people with a team dynamic who are interested in working for a good cause and able to handle rejection well. As this is a fundraising effort, candidates must be able to keep positive spirits even after being told no several times. Solid work history and people skills are a must. Required to recruit 6 volunteer fundraisers per day and get 20 referrals.

Position will go until the end of June 2010.


BSA Investigator - SAR Experience Required
Location: Minneapolis
Pay: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; M-F

BSA investigator needed for banking client in Minneapolis. Perform moderately complex investigations to protect the Bank from known or suspected internal or external criminal activities, with primary focus on money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act issues.

Job Duties:
Investigate moderately complex money laundering schemes requiring proficient experience in conducting investigations.
Identify weaknesses in Bank policy and procedures which may place the Bank at financial risk and suggests improvements to those policies and procedures.
Perform moderately complex investigations to protect the Bank from known or suspected internal or external criminal activities, with primary focus on money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act issues, Areas of investigation include terrorist financing, money laundering fraud schemes, structuring, and illegal money service businesses.
Demonstrate proficiency in investigative practices associated with an experienced investigator: conduct interviews, collect data, compile documentation and evidence, maintain accurate notes, develop initial and ongoing reports of investigations; accurately and timely completion of Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).
Retrieve information and review transactional activity extensively using the Bank’s data systems.
Prepare comprehensive reports of investigation. Refer cases for criminal prosecution where appropriate.

Requirements
•Two years post-secondary education or equivalent experience. Prefer four-year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, International Studies, Criminal Justice, or related field.
•Two or more years experience working with SAR investigations, security operations and/or fraud prevention.
•Two or more years of regulatory compliance experience
•Knowledge of concepts, practices and compliance techniques for the financial services industry.
•Ability to understand complex legal and regulatory issues and laws.
•Understanding of methodologies for researching and analyzing compliance issues.
•Understanding of reporting requirements of various regulatory agencies.
•Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft.
•Strong verbal and written communication.
•Strong analytical skills.


Quality Control Reviewer - Appraiser's License Required

Pay: $14.50 - $25.00/hour
Hours: Shifts vary between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; M-F

Bloomington appraisal services company in need of quality control reviewer. Current MN appraiser's license required.

Job Duties:
•Conduct administrative appraisal reviews; validating the work using logical analysis and sound judgment.
•Ensure that the appraisals submitted to our system comply with USPAP, FIRREA, secondary market requirements, and Company appraisal guidelines.
•Coordinate efforts with our panel appraisers in the field to get timely revisions.
•Communicate our findings and decisions with our appraisers and client alike.
•Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned or required by the QC Supervisor and/or QC Manager.

Experience:
•Minimum 4 years of appraisal and/or appraisal review experience is preferred.
•Must hold and maintain a current state Appraiser License.
•Ability to balance priorities and workload in an environment where change is the norm.
•Must be a self-starter who excels with minimal supervision.
•Ability to analyze data, draw sound conclusions and summarize results in a clear and coherent fashion.
•Proven problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to integrate appraisal theory along with industry standard practices and techniques to arrive at a recommended approach.

Appraisal Customer Service Representative

customer service representative will assist the operations center in achieving the corporate standard of 5-day order completion turnaround time for most appraisal products.

Customer service representatives manage the follow-up and order placement for an assigned region. Communication with appraisal offices is essential in gathering inspection dates, completion dates and other key information. Using this information the customer service representative determines the best course of action to ensure the highest possible service is received by the client.

To perform in this role, a customer service representative must have excellent customer service, communication and documentation skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
Functions include answering incoming calls from the lender and appraisers, follow-up calls as to status of inspections and delivery of final reports, appraiser updates as assigned to your branch
in-box and other projects as assigned. These responsibilities and duties may be changed from time to time as appropriate.

Experience:
Must at least one year of recent office experience. Previous mortgage processing, post closing, secondary marketing or appraisal experience. Proficient computer skills in Window-based software products such as Word, Access, Excel, Email and Power Point.
